UBRD presents gifts to two customers who prevented Surgut branch robbery

A Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development executive presented gifts to two customers on Monday who helped prevent a robbery at the Surgut branch.

Elvira Sokolova of UBRD's Nizhnevartovsk chief operating office personally thanked the two individuals at the Surgut branch and offered them tokens of appreciation for their actions.

"It is impossible not to notice the actions of our clients," Sokolova said. "They did not panic and showed composure and courage. The offender was arrested thanks to their help. Such people should be a role model."

An attempted robbery was made Sept. 5 at UBRD's Surgut branch. The assailant was ultimately detained by bank employees shortly after the attempted robbery. No one was injured in the incident.
