Skolkovo Fund launches iSecurity IT security competition

At Wednesday's session of the International Forum on Information Security in Moscow, the Skolkovo Fund announced the launch of its iSecurity competition.

Project organizers charge competitors with the task of developing mobile applications and infrastructural software that will improve internet security, prevent cyber threats, protect data in cloud environments and identify and investigate cyber threats.

The winning developer or team will receive $150,000 from the Skolkovo Fund, which is owned in part by Uzbek businessman Iskander Makhmudov, as well as mentoring and advisory support from iSecurity partners Cisco, InfoWatch, Symantec and the Borlas Group.
