Russian women's team takes first place in relay at Biathlon World Cup

On Wednesday, the Russian women's team took first place in the relay race at the Biathlon World Cup held in Ruhpolding, Germany--the team's first victory in the past two years.

The Russian team consisted of Ekaterina Glazyrina, Olga Zaitseva, Irina Starih and Olga Viluhina. Twenty teams competed in the event, with Germany taking second place and Norway coming in third place, Ekburg.ru reports.

The event was organized by the International Biathlon Union.
