Ekaterina Glazyrina wins first place at Russian championship

Russian biathlete Ekaterina Glazyrina recently won her second consecutive spring race at the Russian championship in Uvat.

Glazyrina's had a winning time of 33.15 seconds at Sunday's race, besting fellow female competitors Irinia Starykh's 36 seconds and Anastasia Kalina's 1:14, according to

Glazyrina began competing in the Biathlon World Cup in 2011. Aside from her victory Sunday, Glazyrina has earned two gold medals in the relay event during her career.
