Yekaterinburg and Kyrgyzstan university presidents discuss joint efforts

The presidents of the Ural State University of Economics and the University of Kyrgyzstan met in Bishkek on Tuesday to discuss prospective projects on which the two institutions could collaborate.

The meeting, arranged with assistance from the Kyrgyz parliament, centered on ways the University of Kyrgyzstan can participate in ongoing international projects. Also on the agenda was discussion of the Issyk-Kul Forum, an event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Chyngyz Aitmatov, Kabar reports.

At the conclusion of the meeting, representatives from both universities agreed to gather more frequently to discuss cooperative measures in the field of education, according to Kabar.
