Yekaterinburg hosts anti-drug rally on Tuesday

The city of Yekaterinburg will host an anti-drug rally on Tuesday in the center of town in an effort to encourage citizens to take to the streets to say "no" to drugs.

Protesters will meet at noon on Tuesday near the Palace of Youth to begin the rally. A motorcade supporting the protest will travel from the Palace of Youth on Lenin Avenue to Urfa on Kirov Square, Kp.ru reports.

"We want to attract people's attention to the problems of drug abuse," Komsomolskaya Pravda, a representative of the Red Cross, said, according to Kp.ru. "More and more young people now are at risk, and it is for them, we want to make this rally and tell (them) 'no' to drugs."
