Motiv to start testing its GSM networks in new regions

In August, Russian regional mobile operator Motiv plans to start testing its GSM networks in Surgut, Noyabrsk, Kurgan, Shadrinsk and Dalmatovo.

The operator plans to deploy approximately 350 base stations in the new regions, with more than 150 base stations to be built in the Yekaterinburg region, reports.

The networks will be launched under newly received licenses for GSM services in the Kurgan, Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi regions.
