The Yekaterinburg Expo will be held at the International Exhibition Center on March 11 and 12.
Entrepreneurs, researchers, scientists and research teams are invited to attend the free event, where they will be able to present their ideas to the world when their projects are still at the start-up level, enabling them to find support for their ideas.
The expo is being organized by the Sverdlovsk Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and the government of the Sverdlovsk region.
It will include workshops, seminars and private meetings to discuss ideas for industrial technologies and materials, biological and medical technology, innovations for children, information technology, and energy and energy-efficient technologies.
A panel will determine which projects will be funded for further promotion and creation.
The expo is part of a Russian start-up tour meant to discover new technology projects and assist entrepreneurs in completing the projects.
Participants must register their projects on the expo's website at rst.startupvillage.ru.
