The Sverdlovsk State Academic Theater of Musical Comedy will host two events Friday.
The first event will display the works of artists from Yekaterinburg. Sergei Laushkin’s “citizens” will be a central feature of the exhibit. His pieces illustrate the joys of life, whether big or small, and his portraits of cats, strangers and other “citizens” of Yekaterinburg are charming presentations.
“Henri,” a musical biography, includes dance, music, mime, multimedia features and facial expression in an evening of cultural delight. This project features both unique choreography and decorations. Yekaterinburg locals will be among the first to see this play that is dedicated to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, a famous artist with a difficult but fascinating life story. The musical explores the most important challenge the artist faced: his suffering.
Tickets for both events are on sale.
