Kirov-Cheptsk Chemical Plant OJSC (MFP KCCW) recently released its financial and operational results from 2014.
According to the Uralchem report, the company increased its production volume of mineral fertilizers by 2.392 million tons, a 4 percent increase over 2013 production rates.
The company’s overall revenue for 2014 was 27 percent higher than 2013. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization grew 107 percent in 2014. Experts attribute these figures to modernized equipment, updated facilities and more investments.
The company received investments amounting to more than $9 million US in 2014. In turn, the company invested more than $12 million in modernizing and updating equipment and facilities.
MFP KCCW also began to produce new products such as regular calcium nitrate, a concentrated version of calcium nitrate, and an anhydrous brand of “premium” calcium nitrate. These three products were the winners of Russia’s 100 Best Goods of Russia competition. MFP KCCW was also recognized for having the innovation of the year.
