The average cost of fuel in Yekaterinburg is $.50 U.S. per liter, the current Rosstat report said.
A Yekaterinburg customer paid on average $.47 U.S. for a liter of AI-92 and $.51 per liter of AI-95 and higher grades of gasoline as of Dec. 29, 2014. Diesel cost $.52 per liter.
The report states that the average Russian consumer pays $.50 per liter. This figure is the average of A-76 ($.45 U.S. per liter), AI-92 ($.48 per liter), diesel ($.52 per liter) and AI-95 and higher grades of gasoline ($.53 per liter).
Russia’s gasoline production rate rose by 0.6 percent between Dec. 22 and Dec. 28, 2014, the Rosstat report said.
The same report said that diesel fuel output fell by 0.2 percent during the same time period.
At the same time, Ural Business Consulting said that consumer prices fell 0.4 percent; A-76 and diesel fuel costs remained stable; and AI-92, AI-95, and other high grades of gasoline dropped by 0.4 percent for consumers.
