The Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts opened an exhibit on Dec. 3 that features artwork by teachers from the school's Institute of Fine Arts.
The exhibit is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Institute of Fine Arts, which was started by the Department of Decorative Arts in January 2005.
Creative minds from art institutes throughout Russia, in addition to the Union of Artists, Designers’ Union, the Union of Architects, the Union of Cinematographers, the award winners of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region and the State Prize, and winners of international and national professional competitions, have been united through endeavors with the institute.
The institute includes five different departments, all of which train students in various education programs, such as graphics, painting, arts and crafts and handicrafts, the art of the interior, and monumental and decorative art.
The exhibit will close on Jan. 15.
