Neil Musin, a welder on the manual welding control rescue and recovery operations at Gazprom Transgaz Yekaterinburg, was awarded the state medal on Dec. 17.
Chelyabinsk Governor Boris Dubrovsky hosted the formal ceremony in Southern Urals. Dubrovsky greeted the attendees and praised them for the value they add to the state. Their work in their various industries make them indispensable to the region, Dubrovsky said.
Dubrovsky’s speech emphasized that it is each individual’s responsibility to make a direct impact that improves the quality of life for everyone living in the Chelyabinsk region.
Gazprom Transgaz Yekaterinburg is a subsidiary branch of OAO Gazprom. The company provides and distributes natural gas to transportation facilities in Chelyabinsk, Kirgan, Orenburg and Sverdlovsk. Approximately 9,000 employees work at Gazprom. The company operates countless miles of trunk and branch pipelines. It services 280 gas distribution stations, 13 compressor stations and 31 natural gas vehicle filling stations.
