UBRD clients can link cards from other banks to website

The Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development (UBRD) recently expanded its online services for clients.

UBRD customers with debit cards from other banks now can connect them to UBRD’s Internet banking services, costing the equivalent of 15 cents.

This connection enables customers to deposit funds, pay for services and repay loans, all on one website.

Customers no longer need to withdraw cash from a different bank to pay a UBRD loan; the website features payment options directly with UBRD.

This supplemental access is especially important to UBRD customers who live in areas without many ATM machines. Using UBRD’s new features will allow customers to repay loans without using other payment terminals as middlemen.

Connecting cards to UBRD accounts is easy. Under the Maps tab on the website, click the Snap Card link. There will be a form similar to a regular card application. Record your name, your card’s expiration date, and the CVV2 security code from the back of your card.

UBRD will need to confirm your UBRD online banking card, then you will have full access.

This additional service is only available for Visa cards. It is free to connect your Visa card to your UBRD account, but additional charges may apply for transactions between different cards.
