The fourth National Festival starts today at Ural Federal University.
The festival is meant to improve the professional and cultural competence of university students while also exploring the most effective technology training for youth as they prepare to enter the workplace.
Attendees from a number of universities will join discussions, workshops and cultural symposiums, and also enter various contests that test aptitude during the event.
The festival was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Department of State Policy in the field of education of children and youth, the Ministry of Physical Culture, Sport and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Oblast, Ural Federal University and the faculty of global technology MSU.
On the eve of the festival, students laid flowers at a memorial for Boris Yeltsin, the first Russian president and a graduate of Ural Polytechnic University.
