CSKA Moscow demands the return of Ahmed Musa

CKSA Moscow management called for the immediate return of winger Ahmed Musa from the Confederation of African Football league on Thursday.

Under CSKA Moscow's demands, Musa was required to return to Russia on or by Friday, September 12. Musa was needed in time for CSKA Moscow's match against Arsenal Tula on Saturday, and required a physical examination from Russian Premier League physicians, allAfrica reports.

At the time of CSKA Moscow's announcement on Thursday, Musa and his teammates on the Nigerian Super Eagles had tied against South Africa during a qualifying match of the Africa Cup of Nations championship at Cape Town Stadium, according to allAfrica.

Musa has appeared six times with CSKA Moscow during his career in the Russian Premier League. The young athlete scored two goals in CSKA Moscow's most recent match against Rostov-on-Don, allAfrica reports.
