Ural Airlines offers free flights for WWII veterans

Ural Airlines has begun issuing free round-trip tickets to World War II veterans for flights departing from Moscow and St. Petersburg during the period of May 5-15.

Veterans departing from Moscow may obtain complimentary round-trip tickets to Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, Chita, Rostov-on-Don, Mineral Waters, Ulan-Ude, Ufa and Simferopol. Flights departing from St. Petersburg to Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Yakutsk and Rostov-on-Don are also eligible for the veteran promotion.

Also, any guest accompanying a veteran on his or her free flight may purchase their ticket at a 90 percent discount.

To redeem the free tickets, veterans must visit the Ural Airlines kiosk at the Moscow or St. Petersburg airport and provide their service certificate, indicating their participation in the Russian military between the years of 1941 and 1945.
