UrFU to hold Open Days for elementary students

From Jan. 26 to Feb. 2, Ural Federal University's Research and Training Center will be holding Open Days, a program which allows grade school students to conduct projects alongside university professors.

Open Days will commence with a meet and greet between the grade school students and faculty members from UrFU's Department of Education and Humanities and Department of Philology. Next, student participants will be given a guided tour of the SESC.

Students will spend the rest of the week conducting experiments and receiving one-on-one training from university faculty.

On February 2, students will present their research projects to their peers and UrFU faculty. Research projects may be conducted in the areas of computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.
