UrFU's women's soccer team takes first place in minor league standings

Ural Federal University recently advanced from the second round of Russian Minor League Championships in women's soccer, taking first place in the standings.

The national team scored nine points, putting them in the leading position. Last week, UrFU defeated Perm Arsenal 7-1. The next day they beat Kurgan Zauralochka 22-2, followed by a win against Yekaterinburg's Viz-Sinara 7-1.

Ural Federal University's striker Pauline Artemova was recognized for her work in the game. She was given a special prize from the university.

The team will compete in the next round of the championships from Feb. 6-9.
