UrFU presents recognition awards at alumni ceremony

During last week's graduation proceedings at Ural Federal University, the school's alumni association hosted a separate recognition ceremony celebrating the most accomplished members of previous graduating classes.

Recognition awards were distributed by such academic disciplines as science, business, culture and sport.

The science award was given in absentia to Enkhbold Zandaahuugiyn, from the Class of 1989, who was celebrated for his work as chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia. The alumni association's business award was presented to Sinara Group Chairman Dmitry Alexandrovich.

Ural Dumplings founder Sergey Siaev was presented with the culture award, and Phenomenon-A cheerleading coach Vladislav Krapivin received the sports award.
