UrFU teams up with Interpol, Russian government to hold law enforcement workshop

Ural Federal University's forensics department recently partnered with the Public Council of the Ministry of Interior and Interpol cadets for a hands-on learning opportunity.

"The fight against international crime - it's not quiet cabinet and starched shirts, and very laborious, requiring no ordinary analytical skills and knowledge of all the intricacies of detective work, often conjugate great risk to life," Sverdlovsk State Minister of Interior Alexander Filipovich said. "And this work must engage people of exceptional integrity and devotion to duty."

During the learning experience, students will learn about police history and current methods used by international police in law enforcement.
