Ekaterina Glazyrina wins first place at Russian championship

Russian biathlete Ekaterina Glazyrina recently won her second consecutive spring race at the Russian championship in Uvat.

Glazyrina's had a winning time of 33.15 seconds at Sunday's race, besting fellow female competitors Irinia Starykh's 36 seconds and Anastasia Kalina's 1:14, according to BiathlonRus.com.

Glazyrina began competing in the Biathlon World Cup in 2011. Aside from her victory Sunday, Glazyrina has earned two gold medals in the relay event during her career.
