The Sverdlovsk region’s government has plans to create unique investment offers for companies based in China, according to a recent report from Ural Exhibitions.
Sverdlovsk region Gov. Eugene Kuyvashev has made international relations with China a priority during his term. Leaders from the Sverdlovsk region recently went to the Central Ural Mountains for a visit with Chinese representatives where they discussed the opportunity to invest in a variety of industries and branches.
Andrey Sobolev, the minister of External Economic Relations, thanked China for taking such a proactive, constructive stance towards developing relations with Russia.
“China has definite intentions to participate in investment projects in Russia including Sverdlovsk region,” China's General Council Tian Yongxiang said. “There is diversity of the sectors for cooperation: the machine building, pharmacy, chemical industry, construction industry, agriculture, trade and logistics. It is necessary to eliminate all administrative barriers to investment, trade and economic cooperation between our countries, and to form strong relations in business. The General Embassy is ready to render assistance in leading Chinese companies to the Sverdlovsk region for negotiations.”
