MegaFon Login+ phablets now available

MegaFon started to sell MegaFon Login+ phablets Sunday, combining the features of a smartphone and tablet computer, according to a report from Ural Business Consulting.

The new phablet is unique because of its size. Its screen measures 5.5 inches, making it large enough to read e-books, surf the Internet and watch videos. The compact gadget measures 15.5 centimeters by 7.5 centimeters, so unlike a regular tablet computer it fits into pockets and purses.

MegaFon’s new phablet has two cameras, including a primary camera with 5 megapixels and an automatic focus lens. The frontal 0.3-megapixel lens is designed to take quality images and videos.

The MegaFon Login+ implements 4.4 KitKate, which is the latest version of Android™. The phablet’s quad-core processor has a clock frequency of 1.2 gigacycle and 4 gigabytes of internal memory. It also has a 1-gigabyte operating system. In addition, the phablet uses Bluetooth, wireless, 2G, and 3G networks.

The phablet costs just over $67, making it one of the most affordable products of its kind.
