Ural State Economic University honored its top students at a formal ceremony where they were presented with the prestigious Student of the Year 2014 award.
Fifty-seven nominees, all top students of the Sverdlovsk region, gathered for the awards ceremony on Jan. 25. Seven of these nominees were from Ural State Economic University, including Catherine Shukolyukova, Timothy Sokerin, Elena Kramynina, Julia Ogurtsova, Anastasia Troshkina, Berseneva Daria and Irina Zaryazhko.
Helen Kramyninu of USUE also was chosen as a winner. She received first-place honors for the Information Operations category.
Elena Kramynina, a student from ME-11-1, also received a reward. She commented that this award motivates her to work even harder in the future.
Leonid Rapoport, minister of Physical Culture, Sport and Youth Policy, presented the students with their awards.
There were eight categories for the top student of the year.
The communities of the university and Yekaterinburg as a whole congratulate the nominees and the winners for their accomplishments.
