Sverdlovsk entrepreneurship support group releases 2014 report

The Sverdlovsk Regional Fund for Entrepreneurship Support recently released a report on its 2014 performance.

The fund provides many resources for business owners, including educational programs and regular consultations. In 2014, the fund provided 3,634 consultations for 3,260 different businesses. The fund’s services are available to Yekaterinburg and other Sverdlovsk cities.

The fund estimates that its instructors taught approximately 3,932 people the basics of business in 2014.

In 2014, the Regional Development Institute created and implemented a new training program called “Start Your Own Business” for people just opening their new businesses. The course also was available to people with pre-existing businesses and leaders from established companies. A total of 194 groups formed in 39 municipalities to attend the sessions last year. The attendees received a certificate of participation once they completed the program.

The fund presented the training program in Yekaterinburg and in  several other cities throughout the Sverdlovsk region, including Pervouralsk, Krasnoufimsk, V. Pyshma, Alapayevsk, Kamensk-Ural, Irbit, Serov, Sredneural’sk, Artemovskii, Berezovsky, Directed, Upper Tour Nevyansk, New Lala, Krasnoturyinsk and Nizhny Tagil.
