Six project managers at Ural Federal University on Wednesday were recognized for being named among Russia’s best project managers.
All six of the managers successfully passed the international standard certification for the Project Management International Project Management Association (IPMA).
One of the employees, Daniel Sandler, the vice president for Economics and Strategic Development, received the highest achievement possible: IMPA-A Certified Project Director. He has been ranked among the top 19 best directors of projects in Russia.
Anna Zorina, the deputy head of Strategic Development and Marketing, earned the level IPMA-B certification for Certified Project Manager.
Four other employees received a third level of IMPA certifications as IMPA-C Certified Professional Project Management: Natalia Goncharova (head of department for recordkeeping and general issues), Marina Ilysheva (teacher of international Economics VSHEM URFU), and Catherine Makhaeva and Vladimir Telegin (specialists in project management).
URFU is excited to welcome these new leaders to the university’s staff.
IPMA, founded in 1965, is a professional nonprofit organization that develops, teaches and applies techniques for project management around the world. The association brings together over 55 national organizations in IPMA’s project management certification programs.
