More than 270 companies surveyed in the Sverdlovsk region have expressed an interest in developing business relationships with European Union countries, the Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund said Monday.
Many companies asked for assistance from the Euro Info Correspondence Centre (EICC) in finding foreign partners, while others participated in major exhibition events aboard to establish partnerships. Trips to five different countries, including Germany, Italy and Hungary, resulted in 16 agreements on further cooperation in the fields of medicine, construction, wood and engineering.
Regional Fund for Entrepreneurship Support Director Eugene Kopelyan said these businesses can easily obtain help with their goals from the EICC.
"The mechanism of interaction with the EICC simple and effective - any enterprise in the Sverdlovsk region can contact our specialists, fill out a questionnaire to find customers, suppliers or partners - workers of similar centers around the world will receive the request and offer their own versions," Kopelyan said.
