Students from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) competed against teams from the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANHiGS) in the Studzacheta sports competition on Tuesday.
Five MGIMO teams, each consisting of two females and two male, competed in physical challenges during the competition, including individual events.
The tasks included the standing long jump, tests for precision, the shuttle run, tests for flexibility and performances of power.
An MGIMO team won first place. Team members included P. Usachevoy, R. Bikbulatova, Yu. Batsenkovoy and V. Derunova.
A team from RANHiGS won second place.
The team in third place represented MGIMO. Participants included A. Dolgushina, L. Gordeychenko, V. Konstantinova and V. Vinogradenko.
On an individual level, T. Gabibullaevyn, the team captain for RANHiGS, won first place in the power contest. He lifted 31 times.
MGIMO students organized the competition under the leadership of V. Vintina, the insitute's tennis team captain.
