Sverdlovsk Gov. Eugene Kuyvashev recently announced that the government of the Sverdlovsk region is to become more involved in the role of the Public Chamber, especially in municipalities and health care.
Kuyvashev wants the Public Chamber to focus on all of the public initiatives that are developing the region’s socio-economy and improving the quality of life for residents in Urals.
Per the governor’s instructions, the Public Chamber will renew its focus on the area’s health care and regional programs, seeking to improve the accessibility and quality of the region’s health care.
These improvements will manage public funding issues and monitor physicians’ salaries.
Unfortunately the Sverdlovsk region is known for its lack of qualified medical personnel. Authorities hope that these positive changes will draw more qualified personnel to the region.
Kuyvashev emphasized that the role of the Public Chamber will grow more and more significant as they implement the changes encouraged by President Vladimir Putin.
Kuyvashev also encouraged Sverdlovsk citizens to give him feedback.
