Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO) welcomed firms from around the world to its 17th International Career Day on Nov. 6.
The event brought together companies from Russia and around the world, government representatives, and students from Moscow's university system.
Vladimir Morosov, the institute's vice-rector for Human Resources, welcomed the participants and thanked those who made the event possible.
Partner firms included Unilever, a producer of fast-moving consumer goods; and Sibur, a petrochemical holding company.
During the event, representatives from Unilever and MGIMO announced plans for joint educational programs, which will include internship opportunities for students.
Other companies with representatives in attendance included law firms VEGAS LEX and Cleary Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP; audit and consultants EY and Deloite; Perigrine Falcon, a tea company; and PepsiCo.
The career day events included workshops and presentations. Students also had a chance to meet with company representatives and apply for jobs.
