Ural Sverdlovsk region hosts 'Night of the Arts' festival

The Russian Federation’s Ministry of Culture organized a “Night of the Arts,” which took place Nov. 3-4 in the Ural Sverdlovsk region on the eve of National Unity Day.

Attendees were able to experiment with art, learn new skills, and explore creative innovations and interesting cultural events.

Theaters, libraries, museums, parks and other centers of culture participated in the event. Unique theatrical and interactive presentations made the event enjoyable for everyone.

The Ural State Military History Museum held exhibition tours of the Russian Special Forces, which included workshops designed for children.

The Ekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts hosted a creative, interactive, musical and poetic program.

Another museum exhibit on “Literary Life in Ural’s Twentieth Century” included master classes about traditional Russian dancing. This event included films and tours of the Mari Urals exhibition within the folk tradition of the Middle Urals.

The Ural State Variety Theater set up a 1920s-style photo-shoot salon. The booth was set up and operated after the musical show “Some Like It Hot.” After the photo shoot, attendees were able to see a backstage perspective of the Sverdlovsk Drama Theater through a tour.

The Ministry of Culture invited the entire Ural Sverdlovsk region to attend.
